John Baldy, Expo Center director, is always anxious to show visitors around the facilities at the Walters State Great Smoky Mountain Expo Center. Smokey Mountain Sales is proud to have their spring and fall horse sales at this great and uniquely equipped facility. The Expo center is owned and operated by Walters State Community College in Morristown, TN. Morristown is only a 5 minute drive from White Pine where the Expo Center is located. White Pine and the Expo Center are both at exit # 8 the intersection of I-81 & US 25E. just NW of Knoxville. This is one of the premier horse sale and show facilities in the tri-state area. Smoky Mountain Sales has worked very close with the Expo Center to bring you one of the finest presentation of Tennessee Walking Horses from all over the Eastern US. The attention they show toward the handicapped demonstrates their attention to accessibility and comfort to every visitor. Enjoy the next few pages as you view clips and pictures of the Expo Center. This facility has one of the greatest sound systems. The sound system is laser balanced so that anywhere in the arena the sound of the music and the announcer are crystal clear. It should replay 3 times automatically and then stop.
